Amazing Striped Icebergs (IMAGES)

Did you know that Icebergs in the Antarctic area sometimes have stripes!? They are formed due to layers of snow that react to different conditions. When an iceberg falls into the sea, a layer of salty seawater can freeze to the underside. If this is rich in algae, it can form a green stripe.Blue stripes are often created when a crevice in the ice sheet fills up with melt water and freezes so quickly that no bubbles form. Brown, black and yellow lines are caused by sediment, picked up when the ice sheet grinds downhill towards the sea.

The world’s First Sand-Hotel

The world’s first sand-hotel is open for business on Weymouth beach, Dorset, in England. The 1000 tone-of-sand structure was built in a week by a team of 4 sand-sculptors and is only expected to last until it rains…which, as you probably know, happens quite often in Britain.
The sand-hotel was commissioned by a local travel website that, upon doing some research, found out that 57% of English tourists prefer foreign beach-destinations instead of national ones. So this is like a statement that signifies the rebirth of British tourism. The sand hotel has no roof, so you have a clear view of the star-filled night sky, no toilets and is not recommended for those that hate getting sand between their toes. For an offbeat experience like spending a night at the wonderful sand-hotel, you only have to pay $21, more than a fair price, in my opinion.

Ship in the Middle of Hong Kong

Last time I saw a cruise ship in a city was in that crappy sequel to Speed (starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock), what was it called again…oh yeah, Speed 2. But this particular ship didn’t actually sail to the middle of Hong Kong, it was built there. Whampoa ship is one of the main tourist attraction Hong Kong has to offer and one of the most unusual commercial centers in the world. It has the size of an actual cruise ship and inside you can find many restaurants, shops and even a hotel. To see how much Whampoa really is, just look it up on Google Maps, or better yet take a trip to Hong Kong.

Uneidentified object in London

A strange crater appeared in Potters Field, London on Saturday revealing a strange, unidentified object. The area was soon surrounded by a fence and men in black are guarding the strange machine. Nothing has been revealed about this UFO-looking object that is emitting smoke and strange noises.
All everyone knows about this unidentified object is that is part of the new Insignia launch by Vauxhall. Have they invited aliens to their car launch? That would so bury the competition.

Amazing Body Painting Art (Images)

The creator of these amazing art is Craig Tracy."Within his varied artistic endeavors over the past twenty years he has painted almost on every surface imaginable and has found none to be as challenging, diverse, or satisfying as the human body. "I find the traditional canvas to be more utilitarian rather than creative. Every body is different and offers endless possibilities. This in stark contrast to painting on yet another rectangle that is flat, fabricated and always devoid of life," he states. It is the artist's intent to continue exploring and expanding the boundaries and perceptions of this most intriguing, and alluring ART FORMS."

Kareena n Saif in The Public Eye - LoveBirds Captured in L.A

After accompanying Saif on the sets of Imtiaz Ali’s film in London for about a week, Kareena had gone to Los Angeles to shoot Kambakht Ishq with Akshay Kumar while Saif continued shooting in London. The lovers were separated again by work. But now, Saif is also headed to the US.

However, this time it is not exclusively to be with Bebo (as he has done umpteen times in the past) but to shoot the second schedule of his first home production with Imtiaz Ali in San Francisco.

While in the US, though Saif and Bebo won’t be in the same city, whenever they miss each other all they have to do is catch a flight and they could be together again within hours.

In fact, the buzz is that Saif deliberately planned a US schedule for his movie because he knew that Bebo would be shooting there around the same time. However, director Imtiaz Ali denies this. He says the US schedule was planned long way back.

After the US schedule, the film’s shooting would be about 90 percent complete. The remaining portions will be shot in North India. The movie stars Deepika Padukone opposite Saif.

The Unforgettable Tour: Biggest-Ever Bollywood Live Show

Living up to its hype, the Amitabh Bachchan-led Unforgettable Tour opened to an unprecedented response in Toronto, Canada. Billed as the biggest-ever Bollywood live show abroad, the three-hour inaugural kept the 10,000-strong audience at the Rogers Centre riveted.

Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta too threw in equally brilliant performances in this song and dance extravaganza, as did Ritesh Deshmukh and Vishal Shekhar.

Opening the evening, Preity set the tone with a couple of breathtaking numbers, including Pretty woman (from her film Kal Ho Na Ho), before calling on stage the sexy and gorgeous and unforgettable dude, Abhishek.

However, the evening belonged to Akshay, who literally set the Rogers Centre on fire with his exciting and interactive performance. Having lived here on and off and known the pulse of the city, he opened with hit song from his yet-to-be released film Singh Is Kinng, followed by Dil da mamla hai dilbar and Tere roop di ho gayee balle, balle.

Abhishek popped up somewhere in the crowd and had to be escorted to the stage. Once on stage, he raised the tempo further by belting out hit songs from his films such as Dus and Bunty Aur Babli. His Dus bahane karke le gaye dil left his female fans hysteric. Old timers tapped their feet when he sang his father's Khai ke paan Banaras wala from Don. And as expected, Ash drove the audience crazy with her super hit Crazy kiya re. For his part, Big B had something for everyone - from Rang barse (Silsala) to Roop hai tera sona, sona (Kabhi Kushi, Kabhi Gham) to Kajra re (Bunty Aur Babli).

A virtual stampede broke out near the stage when he offered any girl to come on stage and sing a love song with him. Having chosen one, he offered her a gift box before singing with him. And when she unwrapped the box, out came a nightgown! Before the sheepishly smiling girl could recover, he wrapped his arm around her and launched into Bheegay honth tere from the film Murder.
